But me being the idiot that I am, can't find the prices..... Shocked

Anyway, product-wise I'm convinced it's a good one.

Finally, I would like to note: next to a homepage, we could make good use of ebay and build up rep.

Yes, the toys look really promising, but they are not so cheap. $8 for a keychain is not a wholesale price...

Oh

It was a Singapore Dollar xD I tought thats US $, which would raise the costs. But in that way 4 euro per keychain is durable i think. So we can get like 100 of them for the beggining. Ok, that idea is good. Everyone else has an idea or we start importing this one?

I thought of a t-shirt sale. You know those t-shirts with the word "cocaïne" on it with the lettertype and letterstyle of the coca-cola logo. That's funny, maybe we can do something like that, funny/cool t-shirts. I think it will sell well, only we have to find a good reliable and cheap site who can make it :p. I'm just thinking here, if you guys like it I could do some more research about, though I don't really have time for it untill monday/tuesday.

What do you think about that? We can also try few things at once. Then we will have more confidentiality in receiving benefit, because if one things won't sell we will sell something else.

cheap copi-pod accessories are indeed selling good, but the competition is very big (search on: www.ebay.com).

I am also considering few areas of sale. I was thinking that we could try many ways of selling it like selling on the streets, on the internet, maybe to some shop...

What about stuffed animals they're not to expensive (available between 0.5 and about 5 us dollars).
They're probualy pretty easy to sell and there are lots to choose from.

Or another idee would be neon belts,
you don't see them alot in stores and there is a pretty big demand for them i think.

Uhm, I anyway think that EMO is still minority on the market Razz

But these mascots are really good idea, we can sell each one even for 8 euro. So it's something like 700% earn on every sold piece. But still remains one question: how should we sell that? On ebay? I still think it will be unprofitable to sell on ebay, when the price of sending is the half of the price of toy.

alibaba is to big of a site for us to begin with.
Sure things are cheap, but we'll need to buy hundreds maybe thousands of the same product.

example: the teddybear we saw in a previous post: wow! $1,- each, but we need to buy a thousand..... $1000,- total. Shocked

who thinks we can sell 1000 of the same teddybear, without other choices? silent

I for one don't believe we can.....

I know I'm being an ass cracking everybody's idea's off Razz

I am still stuck with the idea from Jordy of a mobile strap with a screen cleaner, maybe we can use that as product.

I saw that the min. order quantity is 2000 pieces, but perhaps we can design our own prints and split it up in for example 10 varieties of 200 units each?? So we could reach also another group of buyers, instead of only girls/boys.
Maybe if it goes well that we can use our designed prints on another products like keychains/pillows/etc.??

I'm here sharing a conversation I had with Jordy:

He had some very interesting insights, the problem would be to arrange it.
He suggested different kinds of keychains, cute little animals/puppets for boy's and girl's of all kind of ages.
(I guess he meant pretty much custom designs)

and to incorporate a better world theme.
so: fully recycled products and/or products they where made honest (workers given rightful amount of money).
There is a company working in this sector (I forgot the name though), maybe contacting them could help us realize this.

Jordy had some very specific insights on the type of keychains, if only someone would start nagging him to explain it a little bit better.......

Ps. If we start selling honest products we might need a volunteer to go to China on cost of the company, to show the situation on the site......... Who wants to step forward? Razz
